Plyometric Training: Power Skip Routine Drill

·1 min read

This plyometric drill is a power skip routine, used for sprinters and jumpers. This drill teaches an athlete to become coordinated in the swinging motion of their arms and to focus on driving the knee to parallel on the front side of each skip. The athlete should have the foot strike the ground directly under their center of mass, propelling them up and forward.
